The Rochester/Finger Lakes Film & Video Office:
- Markets our region to attract film & video producers and production companies worldwide, bringing new dollars to our community through feature film, commercial, corporate and television production
- Facilitates production shoots that come to the Rochester area, serving as liaison between out-of-town producers and local productions resources, services and government
- Conducts preliminary location scouts and research, and maintains a photo file and resource library

Our 150+ page Production Guide, a directory of area production resources and services published in house, is sent to producers and major motion picture studios worldwide. Standard listings are FREE! Find out if you qualify to be listed , call 585.279.8308.
Newsletter ~ On Location:
Advertise in our newsletter On Location, distribution 3500. The newsletter is published twice a year by the Film Office. Copies of On Location are also sent to producers requesting information about our region.
Networking Events:
Attend Film Office Networking Events. The Film Office organizes parties during the year where the Rochester production community gathers to share ideas, show work, network and just have fun. You can come too.

A conversation with Hollywood Screenplay & TV writer Stu Silver (writer of "Throw Momma From the Train" & TV series SOAP) April 17, 1999 and the Rochester Premiere of "Jackie Brown" starring Rochester-born Robert Forster which was held December '97 at the Little Theatre.
